Renee Daskalakis

 

Renée was born in Brooklyn, New York and upon graduating from high school moved to California and attended UC Davis where she earned a degree in Political Science. She owned and operated a successful restaurant in San Francisco with her family before becoming a realtor in 1991.

After starting her real estate career at Fox and Carskadon, she joined Today Sotheby’s International Realty in 1997 which was acquired by Golden Gate Sotheby’s International Realty in January 2020.

As a member of the San Mateo County of Realtors Association, Renée has consistently been in the top echelon of all agents for volume of transactions closed. In addition, she has worked in conjunction with several municipalities throughout the Bay Area with their First Time Home Buyer Programs. This includes: Administrator of the City of San Mateo’s First Time Home Buyer since 1998, the preferred realtor for the City of San Carlos’ Below Market Rate Housing Program since 2004 and the designated realtor for the City of Menlo Park’s Below Market Rate Housing Program from 1999-2021.

Renée brings an experienced perspective to real estate that has translated to successfully serving buyers and sellers throughout the County for the last 33 years. She has strong interpersonal and organizational skills and an acute attention to detail. While bringing a high level of energy to all her endeavors, she is known for her unparalleled dedication. These attributes combined with her knowledge, professionalism and integrity help to set her apart in the industry.

She is warm, enthusiastic, good natured and passionate about helping her clients. Renée prides herself on going that “extra mile” and possesses a keen ability to multi-task while juggling a variety of challenges and responsibilities. She understands her clients’ needs and goals and is determined to make their transaction as stress free as possible while still optimizing their financial and emotional objectives; this is why she sees her role as more of an educator and partner and less of a salesperson. Her guidance and focus during the home buying and selling process leads to a positive experience for all involved.
